Based on the bestselling novel “The Fault in Our Stars” by author John Green, Dil Bechara is an extra ordinary love story of two ordinary people. The lead characters of the movie are Kizie Basu (played by Sanjana Sanghi) and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior / Manny (played by Sushant Singh Rajput).
The film is directed by Mukesh Chhabra and produced by Fox Star Studios. A R Rehman has directed the music for the film. The film was released online on 24 July 2020 and is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

In Dil Bechara, Manny and Kizie immortalized the Tamil word “Seri” by making it their secret word. ‘Seri’ in Tamil translates as ‘okay.’ Manny and Kizie, in the film, decided to use “Seri” as their secret word to always remember that everything in Life will be okay.
This is Sushant Singh Rajput’s much awaited film amidst raging controversies over his death. He was found dead at his home in Mumbai on June 14, which police claims he died by suicide.
