“Gulabo Sitabo” Worldwide Digital Release on June 12th, 2020

Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Gulabo Sitabo is all set to be digitally released worldwide on Amazon Prime. Earlier the film was to be released in theatres in April 2020 but due to the Coronavirus pandemic producers decided to withhold its release. To keep the show going, the team has finally decided for its Digital release on June 12^th, 2020.

“Gulabo Sitabo”, A Rising Sun Films Production and directed by Shoojit Sircar is the story of an aged landlord Gulabo (played by Big B) and his tenant, Sitabo (played by Ayushmann). It is a quirky tale of slimy scheming foxes, a landlord and a tenant, in a game of one up man ship.

Shoojit Sircar with Big B has earlier given super hit films like “Piku” (2015) and “Pink” (2016). Ayushmann made his debut in the industry with Sircar’s “Vicky Donor” in the year 2012.

In his recent post on social media, Amitabh Bachchan said he is honoured to be part of yet another challenge in his career as an actor. “Joined film industry in 1969. Now in 2020. It’s… 51 years! During this formidable period seen many changes and challenges. Now another challenge. Digital release of my film Gulabo Sitabo. June 12, only on Amazon Prime. Worldwide. 200 plus countries. That is amazing. Honoured to be a part of yet another challenge!“, he wrote.
