India’s Jet Airways Cancels Flights to Toronto

Jet Airways had cancelled all overseas flights since Friday morning, including its Delhi Toronto flight.
For India’s Jet Airways, possible shutdown seems imminent if and new investors don’t rescue it. More than 80 per cent of Jet Airways fleet is already grounded for unpaid dues and lack of funds for operation.

The Pilots Union of India’s beleaguered Jet Airways has threatened that they will soon stop flying if they are not paid their due salaries of last three months within next week.

Saddled with more than $1.2 billion of bank debt, Jet is fighting for survival as it also owes money to lessors, suppliers and oil companies.
