State Elections 2018: Madhya Pradesh records 74% turnout

As polling came to a close in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, with 74.61 per cent voters exercising their franchise experts are predicting a very close finish for BJP and Congress. Though state Congress chief Kamal Nath said that he is confident of Congress winning over 140 seats and forming the next government, BJP on other hand is claiming that they will be winning the elections with absolute majority.

Barring few instances of EVM malfunctioning, the voting went of peacefully in all over Madhya Pradesh.
